Has summer finally arrived? It would almost seem so as we hiked on this beautiful fall day in 20C weather! This was a very nice fall hike, with lots of pretty colourful trees. The big thrill came when Debbie used her wildflower book to identify a flower at lunch time! Wow! After lunch, we headed down the hill to the intersection with the Elbow Valley trail, which is where Petar joined us having shown up late for Joel's trip. The big scare came when we forgot to wait for our stragglers at a confusing intersection and they managed to walk quite a ways down the trail in the wrong direction before our hero, Alastair, saved the day by running after them and finding them. Finally, the big stink came when the Poo Shoe Sisters stepped in some especially stinky poo, with Jacqueline taking the plunge first, and woeful Karen following shortly after (and also after severe mockery of Jacqueline). People who live in glass houses...
