Jumpingpound Loop
Although we were hiking in Sibbald Flats, and the terrain there, relatively speaking, is flat, we went up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down. Anyone who hikes with me regularly knows that I like hikes best when you do most/all of the work on the way "out" and then cruise on back easily. That would be the only thing I didn't love about this hike. Even though we were hiking in the foothills, and we were always near the road, we also had some fine views of the mountains, and we were given an absolutely gorgeous perfect day for a tromp in the woods. We even had our moment of silence at 11:00 (Keith would like the record to show that it was actually 10:57). -- Rhonda |
