When you combine a beautiful sunny day, great snow and a great bunch of people you get the perfect combination for a fun X country skiing day! We started at the Kananaskis parking lot, took Terrace Trail onto Kovach (with the long uphill and then nice downhill) and then back up the Aspen Trail to finally come back on Terrace Trail. All together about 8 Km in about 2 hours. It was warm enough to eat lunch outside so we did that before heading to the pub for a beer. All around a great day and we even got to sleep-in and get home for dinner.
