Today Geoff, David and Marg celebrated 10 years of membership in the Calgary Outdoor Club! June 2004 at Big Hill Springs was Geoff's first event and then he introduced David and Marg to the COC for their first event on July 11 2004 to Helen Lake. Through the past 10 years we have met incredible people and many have become good friends with whom we've shared hundreds and hundreds of fantastic outdoor adventures. It was a special treat for us to have Rhonda join us today, founder of the COC, and she shared some stories with us about the beginnings of the club. Another treat was the opportunity to welcome brand new member, Loralee - may you experience many happy trails and fun times with the COC in the years to come :-) A celebratory non-alcoholic sparkling beverage was shared in a toast to this fabulous club. Here's to many more years of outdoor fun and adventures!
