Well, I didn't get to finish the hike today - I had to turn around with a hiker with a minor injury, but Debbie took over the group and it sounds like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Some comments: It's windy up there! But the sun is great and we can see very clearly the snow mountains far away. -- Sunry We made it and didn't get lost thanks to Debbie. It was very windy at the ridge, with a fantastic view. We saw a small herd of dear running through the snow at the top, you could pretend that they were reindeer and Santa would be next. I think that Julie and Sunry enjoyed their experience despite wet socks ( Debbie lent her a dry pair). Snow hiking is much more tiring than summer hiking. -- Ann |
