We had a somewhat confused start to the day, but it all worked out in the end. A couple of cars took a wrong turn on the way to the trailhead, so by the time they arrived, Ed's group had already arrived as well. The two groups were scheduled to do the same hike - the Sulphur Springs/Riverview loop. Due to weather (and wimpy coordinator) conditions, I decided that I would take a group to do Diamond T instead, which is a really great 4km loop with a bit of scenery and three fairly big hills that make you feel like you still got your workout. About half of my group abandoned us and joined Ed to do the longer Sulphur Springs hike, and it sounds like they had a great time. The remaining nine hiked Diamond T, and then went to the Cinnamon Bun place in Bragg Creek after for coffee and snacks. :) -- Rhonda |
