A glorious day with gorgeous scenery, blue skies and mild temperatures. Joanne even brought her fetus friend on the trip (they've been friends since they were fetii, living next door to one another). A few poochies along (Manon, Bandit and Tacoma) made it that much more fun - there's no one happier than a dog on a hike. We snow shoed up to the lake for lunch, and then several proceeded on to the Elephant Rocks while the rest returned back down to the parking lot. Of course, Ralph made it to the Elephant Rocks and then still beat the non-Rocks people down the hill. A few of us braved the Family Day crowds at Kilkenny (Lindsey's theory is that after spending the day with the family, everyone needed a drink) for a quick refresher. -- Rhonda |
