We came, we saw, we flailed. It was perfect. Temps were slightly above zero so there was some red wax used (for the couple of people who needed it... the rest of us were on waxless skis). There were four experienced folk who set out on their own to explore the blue and black trails, while I took the beginners out onto the green trails. We did Owl Loop counter-clockwise, then turned around and did Owl and Wagon Loop clockwise. We met up at the lodge at 2:30-ish *cough cough* for a snack break. Some of us took our leave after that, while the rest headed out for more skiing. Thanks to everyone who came out for a fantastic day, - Rhonda |
