After a few minutes on the switchbacks, we split easily into a "faster slow group" and a "slower slow group". Rita and Pam graciously accepted the task of taking charge of the "faster slow group" and their group trouped all the way up to just below the final ascent to the ridge. My group... the "slower slow group" made it easily to my intended destination - lunch just above the cable/fence. After the hike, Pam won everyone's hearts with suggestions of a 'stretch our legs' walk around Forgetmenot Pond, and then ice cream in Bragg Creek. -- Rhonda |
